The Des Trois Couronnes Hotel is housed in an eye-catchingly modern building with a pale grey façade. Medium sized and simply decorated, the lobby incorporates a small bar area. Of the 64 guestrooms, 44 have balconies and all feature décor that is simple, contemporary and easy on the eye. Both the bedrooms and en suite bathrooms are in good condition. Situated on the top floor, the “Le Richepin” restaurant commands wonderful views of the medieval city across the river. Under the supervision of chef Jean Pierre Vignes, it serves good range of regional dishes made from market-fresh produce. There’s also a small indoor pool with a view. Though the interior of this property could do with a little freshening up here and there, it offers a good location at competitive prices.
